The venue

The story so far...

Following a hugely successful 10 year stint in Drummond Street Oakleigh The Caravan Music Club relocated to the South Oakleigh Club in the back streets of Bentleigh East where again the popular venue found success.

2020 brought with it some unforeseen challenges, one of which saw CMC pack up and head south down the Highway to its new home at ARCHIES CREEK HOTEL.

Over the years The Caravan has attracted a legion of music loving fans by offering an alternative experience to sticky carpet and baby-sitter hostile late-night finishes. In its new locale it has a loungy vibe with candle lit tables, and a cozy feel. The Archies Creek Hotel has an intimate, ambient performance space within a country pub atmosphere. For the bigger shows, CMC utilise their outdoor beer garden and the local Archies Creek Hall.

Peter Foley and his crew have pulled out all stops to build a great music venue from the ground up with top notch sound and lighting production. CMC is well known for hosting both local and international acts for some very special up close and personal performances.
