The Detonators are a Melbourne based, original roots rockers band that have been established since 1997.  Their live performance reputation is backed by aggressive touring locally and abroad.

Acclaimed for their gritty, driving, down home-home sound, Collard Greens and Gravy play harmonica driven, early Chicago Blues in the style of greats like Little Walter, Jimmy Reed, Muddy Waters, Jimmy Rogers and Sonny Boy Williamson to name a few

ABOUT ROD PAINE AND THE FULL TIME LOVERS:

The members have rolled their way thru the Australian Blues scene for the past 25 years or so. Howlin Time, Straight 8'SBlue Devil, Rocket 88's to name a few. Grew out of The Redliners (1996-2005) and formed The Fulltime Lovers in 2007. Winners of the 2013 blues challenge and travelled to Memphis TN to represent Australia in the 2014 IBC.
