MUSIC VICTORIA PRESENTS: "Off the Beaten Track". This tour is an initiative to get folks out of the pubs and off the couch. If we build it they will come, so start your engines ladies and gentlemen, it's time to head Off the Beaten Track and come on down to and join us at the CARAVAN CLUB!!

Rollin’ Wheels and Roving Commissions – there’s music out there. Out where? In the Halls and the Clubs and the RSLs, at the the Wineries, the Footy grounds and even a renovated Substation. Music Victoria, along with Live Solutions is seeking to make a statement that highly regarded regional born talent such as Mick Thomas and Sal Kimber has the potential to play to a wide range of people across the state without spending endless nights hanging around the city in the same old boozers. But if it’s important to get the music outside the pubs it’s also important to get it out of the city centres and therefore this tour has been energetic in it’s approach to venues all across the state, both regional and suburban.

The tour promises to be a rocking saga of roots driven contemporary rock n’ roll as Sal and her fine band The Rollin’ Wheel do battle with Mick’s new ensemble The Roving Commission. Both acts have current albums and both are set to throw off the shackles of inner city self consciousness and hit the road running.
