Stints with Harum Scarum and Paul Kelly and the Coloured Girls followed, and by the end of the 80s Chris was renowned as one of our finest vocalists, harmonica players and songwriters, fronting the superb Crown of Thorns

Chris Wilson, Melbourne’s most beloved harmonica player and one of
Australia’s finest singer-songwriters, returns to the Caravan Music Club
with some beautiful new songs, as well as samples from his matchless back
catalogue; songs like You Will Surely Love Again, Hard Land, Face In The
Mirror and Embers Down The Mountain which have a timeless quality and mean
so much to so many of Chris’ fans.

Chris will be joined by the brilliant Shannon Bourne on guitars and rising
jazz/country fiddle star Heather Stewart, bringing a fresh sound to the old
favourites and a sympathetic energy to the new songs.

Chris will be recording this show and hopes to release the cd this year
“Live At The Caravan Club ” will surely take its place alongside Chris’
previous live album, the endearingly successful Live At The Continental, as
the Caravan Music Club has certainly filled that great lost venue’s shoes!
