The Davidson Brothers

THE DAVIDSON BROTHERS are considered two of Australia’s most highly driven and well respected bluegrass musicians. HAMISH and LACHIE were raised in the rural Victorian town of Yinnar and began performing and recording in 1998. Since then, they’ve toured the United States, Europe, appeared on the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville and toured their band extensively across Australia.

Mostly self-taught, multi-Instrumentalists, both Hamish (fiddle, banjo, guitar, dobro, vocals) and Lachlan (mandolin, fiddle, guitar, vocals) became in-demand session musicians before they finished high school and as competitive teenagers they both went on to win National Bluegrass Championship titles. Nikki’s sister Gloria (rhythm guitar and vocals) and cousin Tomika (drums and vocals) share the same deep musical heritage and love of infectious gospel-soul funk- blues music, Joining Nikki and the Browns is legendary Australian guitarist DOM TURNER, of the awarded Australian blues act, Backsliders. Hailing from Toledo, Ohio, Nikki was born into a Church-based slide guitar tradition known as Sacred Steel. Kirk Fletcher (US)

Widely considered one of the best blues guitarists in the world, KIRK FLETCHER has commanded the respect and acclaim of critics, peers and fans across the globe. Kirk first picked up a guitar at age eight, playing alongside his older brother Walter in their father’s church.
